What to Look For in a Padel Venue
Indoor courts mean year-round play regardless of weather. Outdoor courts are cheaper but you're at the mercy of a British summer. Three-quarters of new UK courts being built are indoor or covered.
Most venues use Playtomic, Matchi, or their own system. Download the app before you go - you can often find off-peak slots significantly cheaper than peak time.
Most UK venues offer pay-and-play for casual players. Memberships make sense if you're playing weekly - they typically cut your hourly court cost by 25-40%.
Most venues hire rackets for £3-5. Try the sport a few times before buying your own racket - you'll make a much better decision once you know what you're looking for.
